Basketball in Vietnam
This blog is about me playing basketball in summer.

Other than studying for the SAT, mainly the English section, I've also been playing basketball here in Vietnam. I've been playing basketball for most of my life, so it's very hard for me not to play basketball when I am given the opportunity to do so. Furthermore, in the US I mainly play football/soccer but here in Vietnam, there are very limited fields and pitches in my neighborhood. Vietnam is a small country with a lot of traffic and doesn't really have an established football culture, so I am not really able to find opportunities to improve my football skills for my next school year. However, there is a decently small grass field below my apartment that I occasionally go and play football after my SAT tutoring classes.
Focusing back on basketball, I usually play 4 or 5 times a week with my friends. A typical basketball session will start with us warming up first, either by shooting shots, practicing dribbling moves, or playing some casual 1v1s. Then it moves on to drills that our coaches walk us through, and after that we play matches/scrimmages (3v3, 5v5. etc...). As a basketball player, I am not really that tall or strong, so I play as a guard. I would my say that main strength is dribblling the ball to drive to the basket for layups or create my own shots.
