MayFlower June 20th Event

On June 20th, I was able to do charity work with the Mayflower Foundation. This foundation is about helping the people in need all around Vietnam and letting their voices be heard. We want people not just in Vietnam but around the world to know the difficulties that these people have to go through every day, and why their story is worth sharing. Last friday, we were in Saigon and went to a place called "Diệu Pháp", this place is essentially a care center for old ladies. Even if it was just for a few hours, we wanted to make their day happier and form lasting memories. The team provided the center with fresh new tissue paper, shampoo, soap and also many cartons of milk. Above that, we hosted a trivia event and gave prizes to the ladies who had their hand up first and could also answer the question correctly. Furthermore, the Mayflower Foundation also decided to clean the place using brooms, we cleaned inside the center where the ladies lived, and also outside as we saw that there was a lot of trash, leaves, etc...
